Grief & Joy
This weekend held two things at once. My 5 month old grandson’s first Easter and the immense joy it brought. And the memory of our last Easter with Nick, with the sadness and grief of what was missing. Easter was our last family holiday we spent together. I don’t think people talk enough about how those moments sit side by side without replacing each other. They just exist together. Watching something begin while remembering something that ended. It’s a strange kind of balance. One that grief quietly asks us to learn, whether we’re ready or not.

Registration Here! Join us at Just Smash It and let go for a little bit. Come on down and smash away your frustrations in a safe and controlled environment. As with our previous events, we are requiring a $20 deposit to hold your spot. You will receive the deposit back at the event. If you sign up and do not attend the event without giving us 10 days notice, the deposit is not refundable. We do this to be able to continue to offer events at no cost to you. PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT CENTER SURVEY
Have you attended one of our grief support groups at any of the MA Recovery Centers? Or have you utilized the centers in another way? This survey data is being collected by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) for the purpose of understanding center utilization and community need.
The Wey of Life is offering an incentive to complete the survey if you have used their recovery center services. Details on how to enter are on the flyer.
