Together in the Light: A New Chapter Begins
With grateful hearts and a shared commitment to supporting people bereaved due to substance use-related causes, Cheryl Juaire and Robyn Houston-Bean are honored to announce that Team Sharing, Inc. and The Sun Will Rise Foundation are joining together to expand and strengthen support for people bereaved due to substance use-related causes.
After thoughtful planning, Team Sharing, Inc., will merge in the fall of 2026, into The Sun Will Rise Foundation, which will continue as the surviving nonprofit organization. While the legal structure is changing, our shared mission and commitment to those we serve remain as strong as ever.
two organizations. one shared mission.
For years, Team Sharing has supported, advocated for, educated, and connected parents whose lives have been touched by substance use disorder. The Sun Will Rise was built on that same belief: that anyone bereaved due to substance use-related causes deserves compassion, that healing happens in community, and that no one should have to walk this journey alone.
Because our missions have always been so closely aligned, bringing our organizations together feels like a natural next step. The Sun Will Rise Foundation will proudly carry forward the work and values of both organizations, continuing to provide peer grief support, education, advocacy, community events, and opportunities for healing and connection.
Honoring the Past. Building the Future.
celebrating cheryl’s retirement
This transition also marks a deeply personal milestone for Team Sharing founder Cheryl Juaire, who will be retiring after many years of dedicated service to families bereaved due to substance related causes. What began from personal loss grew into a community of compassion, advocacy, education, and hope that has touched countless lives. While Cheryl is stepping away from leadership, her vision, passion, and unwavering commitment to ensuring that no one walk alone will continue to live on through the work of The Sun Will Rise Foundation. The legacy of Team Sharing will live on.
preserving an important legacy
The Team Sharing Overdose Awareness memorial license plates will remain available in MA. Every plate sold will continue to support this work and ensure that this meaningful tradition continues for years to come. These plates have become a lasting symbol of awareness and remembrance throughout our communities and The Sun Will Rise is committed to preserving and supporting this important legacy.
