Stages of Grief ????
Sit in one of our groups and you’ll hear it right away. Someone who is newly bereaved. Someone who is years in. And somehow they’re saying similar things. Their grief doesn’t follow a timeline and it doesn’t move in order. It shows up when it wants to, in ways we don’t expect. What we see, over and over, is that it doesn’t go away. But people do find a way to live with it. They find words for it. They find each other. They have moments where it feels a little less heavy. And it’s not because they’ve moved through these neatly packaged stages. It’s because they’ve learned or are learning how to carry it.
