Finding Our Way Together
The silence that follows the death of our person is rarely quiet in our own minds. Instead, it’s often filled with a relentless cycle of questions that don’t seem to have easy answers. Some of us find ourselves retracing steps, trying to reverse the tragedy, wondering "what if" or "if only," and trying to make sense of a death that feels both preventable and inevitable all at once. It is a heavy, complicated weight to carry. There is no right way to process this. Just know that others have these questions circling their minds too. Whether you need to talk through the hardest memories or share a moment of joy, our groups can be your anchor. You don't have to carry the weight of these questions alone.
Watch more: Could This Death Have Been Prevented? PSCP’s Laura Vargas and Joanna Bridger of Safety, Hope, and Healing discuss the difficult questions that grievers struggle with after a death by suicide or from substance use related causes.
with care
